Society of Young Scientist

The Society of Young Scientists officially commenced in October 2006, encompassing a profound team of young professionals from various fields and diversities. It was established with a social objective to instigate the movement of literacy in India and a focus to direct technology to every part of the country, not merely constrained to cities and the affluent elite.

The Organization’s purpose is to encourage individuals to explore science and its importance in today’s society, as well as to educate people in various fields of technology so as to promote involvement in research initiatives; thereby aiding solution to technical problems faced by the Nation.

In order to recognize talent at every stage and encourage technological evolvement we will be presenting awards and certificates in addition to playing a major role in bringing an individual’s vision to the end user. The later will be achieved through joint collaboration with a variety of similar organizations, institutions, and government bodies.

The revenue obtained through memberships will be utilized for development of the Society which endeavors to provide assistance to individuals and institutions who support the Society to fulfill the objectives of the organization.

History: Society is formed by seven directors who are from various back ground of education and serving in various industries. With their decade long experience put together backs up the society. Society is intended to bring in change, a change in approach to a problem, a change in education system. With growing competition in every field, many are unable to fulfill their interest and reach goals, discontinuing education, changing their stream of work, which is not relevant to their education. The reasons for such things are due to lack of awareness. Society is to bridge gap between the education and industry. The main application oriented approach to the subject gives a step for the progress. This kind of change needed is to be initiated from the base level of education. Keeping all these into consideration society has come out with its goals and activities

Organization structure: Society has seven directors including chairperson. It will have apart from this a technical advisory board as well as research division. Total of 9 zones with 9 zonal heads for each district/town assisted by a zonal secretary. Zonal secretary is assisted by a general secretary, assistant secretary Zonal secretaries will be elected from the schools or colleges and will be a status of professor or lecturer well educated and socially involved. Under zonal secretary there will be two active students elected from the zones. General secretary and assistant secretary help in taking the activities to reach their zones. Each district will have 9 zonal secretaries and 18 general assistants and general secretaries. District heads all report to the directors and chairman. District heads will be retired professionals of the district who is involved in social activities of that district.

Vision and Mission Vision:- To recognize,encourage,reward the young talents who have motive to pursue research as career and serve the country as well fellow citizens through there dedicated effort to bring up new innovations in the field of science and technology. Mission:- To help the poorest of the poor to relish the dreams of being a part of science and technology enhancement and bring about massive movement in creating a new scientific India

Scholarship:- Society is started on grounds of up lifting socially back ward communities and economically weaker section. As part of the support society announces yearly scholarships in form of either cash or books or amenities to various members of the brighter group of students irrespective of their status as part of tribute to their hardship.
